We often put creativity off until later: waiting for the “right moment,” a special mood, or perfect materials. It seems like we first need to buy expensive brushes, find a few free hours, or come up with a “great idea.” But the truth is, the best time to draw is right now.

You can draw on anything: a sheet from a notebook, the corner of a page, or even a napkin. All you need is a pencil or a pen. Let it be a small sketch — a cup on the table, the window behind you, a random figure. Every quick sketch is a step forward, a practice for your eye and hand.

Sketches don’t have to be perfect. On the contrary — freedom is born in simple, quick lines. Through sketching, you learn to notice shape, light, and mood. Gradually, confidence grows, and what once seemed difficult becomes natural.

Creativity doesn’t like to wait. If you feel the urge — just draw. Five minutes today will benefit you more than an hour “someday later.”

Pick up a pencil, look around, and make the first stroke. You’ll see: starting to draw is easier than it seems. The main thing is to start now.
